Information for health, welfare and human services agencies and workers

If you're visiting this page, chances are you've been prompted to do so out of concern for a client. Perhaps you have a male client you think (or know) is using violence against his family member(s). Or maybe your client is a woman or child experiencing abuse.

It's not always easy to know how to respond to male family violence in ways that are appropriate and safe for everyone. This section of our website provides information about our service and how we work. We hope it provides you with a basis for deciding what to do next and strongly encourage you to call us to discuss the specifics of the matter at hand.

Do you have a waiting area where you can display our brochures and posters?

You can help men to receive the help they need by displaying Men's Referral Service brochures, posters and wallet cards in your agency or service waiting areas. Many men don't know where to go for help, so a well-placed poster or set of brochures can make a big difference. These materials would be posted out to you free-of-charge. Please contact us if you can help in this way.
